Volunteers make an extraordinary contribution to our community. Share your time and skills with us to assist others, both in the community and at activities and events. Volunteers are the backbone of our transport services and we welcome enquiries from community members about being a Volunteer Driver.
How can you assist us?
You can volunteer for us in a number of different ways. Volunteers deliver meals, assist us at day-activities and on social outings and provide local and regional transport. Volunteers also provide assistance to people who need help to access community, government and business services within our local area and regionally.
Why be a volunteer?
Volunteering can be a way of sharing your skills and talents, to see whether a career in aged care or disability care is for you, or a great way to connect with our local community. Volunteering can help you achieve your goals, including:
- Learn new skills
- Build up work experience
- Help others
- Build self-esteem and self confidence
- Improve your health and be active
